Region
10’s RDE Agenda for 2005-2010
RRDCC
approves the Regional Research, Development and Extension
Agenda for Agriculture, Fisheries and Natural Resources
for 2005 – 2010. The RDE agenda was developed through
a series of workshops conducted during the 1st and 2nd
quarters of 2005.

Tangub City FITS, Naawan FITS, Calamba FITS, Jimenez FITS, Lanao del Norte Provincial FITS and Lala FITS are the newly launched FITS Centers in Region 10.

| Phase 2 RDE Proposal Workshop and RTWG
Meeting Set
The second phase of the RDE workshop for the development
of research proposals for the various priority commodities
of Region 10 will be on November 17, 2005 while the
NOMCARRD RTWG meeting for the 4th quarter will be
held on November 18, 2005. Both activities will be
conducted at NOMIARC, Dalwangan, Malaybalay City.

| Joint RACO-RMIS Meeting tackles K-Agrinet
status
The fourth quarterly meeting of the NOMCARRD RACO
and RMIS group held last October 26, 2005 at DA-ATI-RTC,
El Salvador, Misamis Oriental was concluded with
the convergence of the group to discuss on the status
of the K-Agrinet implementation in the region.

RMIS Group meet to enhance and update
the NOMCARRD Web
The last quarter of 2005 saw the RMIS Group pooling
their talents and expertise to enhance and update
the NOMCARRD Web. The group forego the Eid’l Fitr
holiday to undertake such activity. The activity
is a response to the increasing demand of clients
for more information in the web.

MSU-Naawan
Papers Sweep Top Honors During 17th NOMCARRD
R&D
Two
papers from MSU-Naawan garnered 1st Place in both
Research and Development Categories during the 17th
NOMCARRD R&D Symposium held at MOSCAT, Claveria,
Misamis Oriental on August 4-5, 2005.
